My 2 x great grandmother Alice Ford (nee Box) died on the 19th of March 1878 aged 41 years at 13,John Street,Hanley, Stoke on Trent (certificate).In fact Alice was 38 years old when she died. Cause of death was Morbus Cordis Dropsy. She is buried in Hanley Cemetery with three of her children Hannah age 15 years,Mary Alice age 3 years and George age 9 months.
