Notes:

Jonah served as a Private with the North Staffordshire Regiment during World War 1, in France from the 18th of July 1915. In addition to the British and Victory medals, he was awarded the 1915 Star. Tragically , after more than three years service and less than two months before the Armistice,he was killed in Action on the 15th of September 1918. He is buried in Bertincourt Chateau British Cemetery, Northern France.
