In 1881, Ann aged 19 years was a Grocer's Assistant along with her mother Martha aged 42. They were living and working at the home of Samuel Stubbs at Cheadle Common, Staffordshire, It states that Martha is his niece and Ann is his grandddaughter. On the 1871 census they are both down as Samuel's nieces.I am still searching for the family connection
