My mother, Dorothy, was a bridesmaid at the marriage of Doris and her husband, Jack Clisset. I have a newspaper cutting of the event. Dorothy wore a pink crepe-de-Chine dress and carried a bouquet of apricot carnations. She was presented with a diamante necklace by the bridegroom.
