Notes:

Sarah was my 3 x great grandmother. She died in 1840 aged 48 years. The cause of her death was St Anthony's Fire. I looked this up on 'Medicine through Time' and it sounds horrendous. The cause is a fungus( ergot) that grows on bread made from rye flour. It gives the person hallucinations, writhing in agony, vomiting and suffering terrible burning sensations in their limbs, eventually sending the person mad.
