Notes:

My great grandfather, Philip Clement, was the Engine Winder at Foxfield Colliery, Dilhorne, for 35 years. He was a member of the Parish Council and was the Church Warden at All Saints, Dilhorne, for 17 years. Due to his grandmother, Elizabeth Daniels, marrying for a second time to Thomas Clement Madeley, the family sometimes used this surname. This became very confusing when I was researching the family.
