I am including Thomas and his wife Ellen on my family tree because they became the guardians of my 2 x great grandfather Ralph Hammond aged 10 and his brothers John age 8 and Joseph age 5 when their parents died. The boys are on the 1841 census for Kingsley with Thomas and Ellen.
