Notes:

On the 1851 census Elizabeth is living in Cheadle Workhouse. Her husband James Coates and their children are livng with his parents in Cheadle. When Elizabeth comes out of the Workhouse she goes to work for John Blundert of Caverswall as a Housekeeper. She and John have two illegitimate daughters. They finally marry in 1872 three weeks after the death of James Coates.
