Notes:
I have been unable to find a baptism for Margaret. She is on the 1841 census for Caverswall with her grandparents, Richard and Mary Hawkins, and again on the 1851 census for Dilhorne with her mother, Hannah, and stepfather, Thomas Bettany. Thomas used the name Bettaney on his marriage to Hannah, but afterwards, on the census and his death certificate, he uses the name Bettany.
