Abraham became the second husband of my 2 x great grandmother, Rachel Thorley nee Lownds. They had four sons together. Abraham had a previous marriage to Mary Hood in 1846. Mary died in 1861, aged 34 years, leaving four children Martha, Hannah, Joseph and William.
